The Cluj International Women's Club (CIWC) was formed in early 2007 and is located in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. CIWC is open to women of all nationalities, is free to join and is completely voluntary. The common language is English, but you don't have to speak English fluently in order to find something you can be a part of. Our group currently has members from 22 different countries - USA, Moldova, Romania, Mexico, England, Finland, Argentina, Japan, Belgium, Germany, Holland and so many more.
Our mission is two-fold; to support families in their transition to integrate into Cluj and to give back to the community we now call home.
We have numerous social activities such as bible study, playgroups for infants and toddlers, lunch group, cooking group and so much more! We are also open to starting new groups and new community projects based on member interest.
We have a wealth of knowledge and tips to make everyday life easier. We also maintain a directory of doctors, schools, housekeepers and such. We have knowledge of the legal processes such as obtaining a driver's license, registering a car and so on.
Monthly Meetings are held the first Friday of every month at 10:30 AM. (contact yahoo groups for locations)
